In an interview with Dave Moody on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio on Monday, Rajah Caruth confirmed that this past weekend’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at WWT Raceway at Gateway will not be his only Truck Series start of 2022.

In the interview, Caruth listed Richmond Raceway, Bristol Motor Speedway and Phoenix Raceway as other events he is slated to drive the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado in this season.

Caruth, who is running full-time in the ARCA Menards Series this season and is the Series points leader, will run double duty with ARCA and the NCWTS at Bristol. He’ll also run double duty at Phoenix, as he is scheduled to run the NASCAR Xfinity Series race there for Alpha Prime Racing.

This brings Caruth’s NASCAR National Series expected starts count to 10 races in 2022. In addition to the Truck Series starts, Caruth has already run the NASCAR Xfinity Series races at Richmond (April 2) and Dover (April 30).

Caruth is set to also run the NASCAR Xfinity Series races at Pocono Raceway (July 23), Kansas Speedway (September 10), Martinsville Speedway (October 29) and Phoenix Raceway (November 5).

At Gateway, in his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut, Caruth scored an impressive 11th-place finish after starting the race in 19th. However, the 19-year old driver opening eyes is nothing new.

Caruth has impressed many in his brief stint behind the wheel of real-world racing vehicles. He first made his name by competing in the eNASCAR Ignite iRacing Series in 2018.

From there, Caruth moved into legends cars to compete in the Bojangles’ Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway in 2019. By the fall of 2019, Caruth was running a Late Model for Rev Racing.

After collecting wins at the Late Model level, Caruth was moved into the ARCA Menards Series ranks, where he is quickly zeroing in on his first-career win.

Caruth is a quick study, and it’s impressive how fast he’s moved up the NASCAR ladder. But he still has a ways to go, but he’ll get three additional NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts on top of his slate of NASCAR Xfinity Series starts and his full-time ARCA Menards Series run this year.
