On Thursday, Niece Motorsports announced the addition of Lawless Alan to the organization’s 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series roster, tapping the 21-year-old driver to participate in at least two races for the race-winning organization. Alan will make his debut with Niece Motorsports at Darlington Raceway on September 5, with another event scheduled for the California-native on November 5, in the series’ season-finale at Phoenix Raceway.
“I’ve learned a lot in the truck races we’ve run so far, and being able to continue that education with a championship-caliber team is a great opportunity,” said Alan. “I appreciate Mr. Niece and Cody [Efaw] putting me in the seat, and I plan on making the most of it. Darlington is a challenging track and another one that I’ve never been to, so I’ll be putting time in on the sim and watching film, and hopefully I can have a good showing in the AUTOParkit Chevrolet and learn some things for next year.”
In 2021, Alan has contested four events in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, participating in events at Daytona’s Road Course, COTA, Nashville and Pocono for Reaume Brothers Racing, and will contest his fifth at Watkins Glen International on Saturday. The 21-year-old will also contest races at Bristol and Talladega later in the season for RBR.

When the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series heads to Darlington Raceway for the second-time this season, Alan will look to improve upon a career-best 20th-place finish that he earned for Reaume Brothers Racing at Pocono Raceway.
