Tell me if you’ve heard this one before: John Hunter Nemechek scored a Stage win, led the most laps and won the race. It’s becoming to be a very predictable finish as JHN scored his second win of the 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season in Saturday’s ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond Raceway.

Nemechek, who became a father for the first time since the last time he raced, led a race-high 114 laps in the 250-lap contest and he held off his boss Kyle Busch over the final few circuits for the victory.

How was he able to pull off the win again?

“Never give up attitude,” Nemechek explained. “I just can’t thank Kyle, everyone at Toyota, all of our great partners. It’s pretty cool to be able to go out here and do what we did. We had a really fast truck.”

Busch attempted to get to the rear bumper of Nemechek in the final turn, but his No. 51 truck didn’t have anything for Nemechek’s No. 4 on Saturday.

Tyler Ankrum, finally got a much needed third-place run on what had been a miserable 2021 season until Saturday at Richmond.

Chandler Smith just missed out on getting Kyle Busch Motorsport the 1-2-3 sweep, as he finished fourth in the race.

Johnny Sauter finished in fifth.

Todd Gilliland, Ben Rhodes, Grant Enfinger, Sam Mayer and Austin Hill rounded out the top-10 finishers in the race.
