John Hunter Nemechek and Kyle Busch Motorsports have certainly asserted themselves as the favorites for the 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship this season, with the Mooresville, North Carolina-native picking up his fourth victory of the season, just one day after his 24th birthday.

Nemechek led 64 of the race’s 147 laps on Saturday Afternoon, taking the lead for the final time with 22 laps to go, passing Zane Smith to complete a cycle of green flag pit stops.

Making a one-off appearance with GMS Racing, Chase Elliott finished in the runner-up position, leading 45 laps and being in the position to grab the No. 24’s best finish of the season. Ross Chastain, Grant Enfinger and Austin Hill rounded out the top-five finishers in Saturday’s SpeedyCash.com 220.

Chandler Smith, Zane Smith, Todd Gilliland, Tyler Ankrum and Tanner Gray rounded out the top-10 finishers. The event featured a total of six caution flags, all of which were for on-track incidents. 2020 NCWTS Champion, Sheldon Creed, packed his LiftKits4Less.com Chevrolet Silverado into the outside wall twice in the first 20 laps, ultimately resulting in a last-place finish.

Stewart Friesen, Drew Dollar, Ray Ciccarelli and Jennifer Jo Cobb also faced on-track issues throughout the course of the event.
