Ryder, a well-known logistics and fleet services company, will serve as the primary sponsorship partner for Frankie Muniz and the No. 33 Reaume Brothers Racing team in Friday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Baptist Health 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The sponsorship of Muniz’s Ford F-150 will serve as the first-ever sponsorship of a truck in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for the iconic brand. The company feels Muniz is the perfect partner to help usher the company into the world of NASCAR.
“As one of the largest fleet owners of commercial trucks in North America, we see tremendous business value in aligning with a NASCAR truck driver,” says Stephanie Wicky, vice president of marketing for Ryder in a press release. “Frankie brings an incredible work ethic, determination, and passion for excellence—qualities that resonate with our brand and our customers in transportation—especially in the commercial fleet rental and leasing industries.”
Muniz, the actor turned race car driver is proud to carry the Ryder brand on his truck this weekend.
“It’s an honor to represent Ryder, a company with such a deep history in trucking and logistics. The connection between NASCAR and Ryder makes perfect sense—both are driven by innovation, performance, and an incredible team behind the scenes making it all happen,” adds NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Driver Frankie Muniz. “I’m excited to get behind the wheel of the No. 33 Ryder Ford F-150 and compete at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.”
Muniz, 39, is competing in his rookie season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this season. In the opening event of the season at Daytona International Speedway, Muniz recorded a stunning 10th-place finish. After the opening three races of the season, Muniz sits 20th in the NASCAR Truck Series championship standings, and he is second in the Rookie of the Year points.
Muniz will look to improve upon his career-best finish of 10th this weekend at Homestead.
