Michael Annett – who was replaced by Chris Windom ahead of Friday Night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Corn Belt 150 at Knoxville Raceway — has been sidelined for Saturday Afternoon’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Credit Karma Money 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, with various reports confirming the circumstances behind Annett sitting out both races this weekend to be a leg injury.

Chris Windom will replace NASCAR Xfinity Series full-time driver Michael Annett as the driver of the No. 02 TMC Chevrolet Silverado in tonight’s Corn Belt 150 at Knoxvile Raceway, according to FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass.

Windom, who made his NASCAR Cup Series debut earlier this season at Bristol, has competed in five prior races in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, recording a career-best 14th-place finish at Eldora Speedway in 2018. As a result of the driver change, Windom will have to join series points leader John Hunter Nemechek at the rear of the field for the main event.
