Niece Motorsports announced the driver lineup for the team’s part-time fourth entry, the No. 41 Chevrolet Silverado, for the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season on Monday morning, and the lineup will be mixed with a wide range of experience.
Bayley Currey, who drove for the team full-time in 2024, will share the ride with NASCAR Cup Series star Ross Chastain, and young up-and-coming driver Matthew Gould.
We’ve got some familiar faces behind the wheel of the #41 this year! ?

Currey will kick off the scheduled 2025 NASCAR Truck Series races for the No. 41 entry at Atlanta Motor Speedway on February 22 with primary sponsorship from Masked Owl Technologies. While not back as a full-time driver in 2025, Curry is still thankful to be back with the competitive Niece team in a part-time role this season.
“I’m grateful to Al Niece and everyone at Masked Owl Technologies for continuing to believe in me and what we have going on the No. 41 team,” Currey said in a team release. “This year will be fun to work with other drivers as we share the same goal of improving every week. Since we aren’t driving the whole year and points aren’t the main focus, I think that allows us the opportunity to try some different things to contend for wins. We are going to give it our best shot in every race.”
As Chastain is a full-time competitor in the NASCAR Cup Series, he is limited to five races in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series ranks, which he will max-out behind the wheel of the No. 41 Chevrolet.
Chastain is set to compete at Homestead-Miami Speedway (March 21), Charlotte Motor Speedway (May 23), Michigan International Speedway (June 7), Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park (July 25), and Watkins Glen International (August 8).
“I’m looking forward to racing at all these tracks on my schedule this year,” said Chastain. “It’s hard to believe that this will be the eighth year that Al Niece has put me in one of his trucks. Everyone at Niece Motorsports treats me like family when I show up, and I think that’s a testament to what Al and Cody (Efaw) have built here in Salisbury. I’m also very thankful that Justin Marks and everyone at Trackhouse is on board with letting me compete in other series to stay sharp on Sundays. We had some good runs last year and know what to improve on to make this year even better, I feel like this team is as strong as ever now.”
The 19-year-old Gould ran two races for Niece Motorsports in 2024 (Milwaukee and Martinsville), and the son of the winningest crew chief in team history, Phil Gould, will return with a schedule to be announced later.
“I’m very excited to get another opportunity to race in the Truck Series with Niece Motorsports,” said Gould. “I feel like we were on track to have some good results last year in my first couple of starts before issues prohibited it. So this year, to have more opportunities ahead as I continue to learn will be great. I’ve known Ross for six years now; he’s done so much for me, and Bayley and I are like brothers. So, it’s going to be awesome to work with them.”
The part-time No. 41 Chevrolet to be shared between Currey, Chastain, and Gould will join Niece Motorsports’ full-time lineup, which is comprised of Matt Mills in the No. 42, Christian Rose in the No. 44, and Kaden Honeycutt in the No. 45.
Niece Motorsports will announce the competition personnel, including the crew chief, as well as additional sponsorship partners for the No. 41 entry in the near future.
