Starting from the outside pole, Brett Moffitt took two laps to get around pole-sitter Christian Eckes to nab the lead in Saturday’s NASCAR Hall of Fame 200 at Martinsville Speedway.

Moffitt would not look back as he led 48 of the 50 laps in Stage 1 and took home the Stage win.

Eckes, driving Kyle Busch Motorsports’ No. 51 truck, held on to finish the Stage in second.

ThorSport Racing teammates Ben Rhodes, Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter ended the opening Stage in positions three through five.

Harrison Burton, Tyler Ankrum, Stewart Friesen, Grant Enfinger and Ross Chastain rounded out the top-10 in Stage 1.
