After a publicly messy divorce from his former team, Chip Ganassi Racing, Brennan Poole has landed back in NASCAR a video posted to his Twitter account revealed on Monday.
I’m going to run for a championship with @MotorsportsOn in the @NASCAR_Trucks series. #timetocharge pic.twitter.com/59aFO3ej39

The video showcases a clean, white No. 30 Toyota Tundra. Poole is standing next to it with his arms crossed, and several times the word ‘Charge’ flashes on the screen. This seems to be a play on Poole’s logo, which incorporates a bull into his initials BP.
It’s good to see Poole land on his feet at On Point Motorsports for 2019. No word on sponsorship just yet.
OPM is a team that was founded by former NASCAR crew chief, Steven Lane, and a group of investors. The organization competed in five events in 2018.
Poole, 27, has never ran the full NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series schedule. He has run three races in the series, including two starts last season. Poole’s best-career Truck series finish was an 11th-place effort in 2014 at Las Vegas.
In 83 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, Poole recorded 36 top-10 finishes. His best finish in NXS competition is second, which came at Kentucky in 2017.
