It’s time for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season to get kick-started with the Busch Light Clash exhibition event at the LA Memorial Coliseum this weekend, and The Final Lap Weekly NASCAR Podcast is back!

Hosts Kerry Murphey and Toby Christie break down the format for this year’s edition of the race at the LA Memorial Coliseum, highlight the entry list for the event, and break down the new faces in new places for 2024. Weather is very much a question mark for this weekend, and the two also delve into the forecast.

Additionally, Kerry and Toby talk about all of the recent headlines in the sport such as Jimmie Johnson’s Hall of Fame induction and recently announced nine-race NASCAR Cup Series driving schedule for LEGACY MOTOR CLUB, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson being named Grand Marshal of the Daytona 500, the Netflix NASCAR docuseries, Josh Williams running some Cup in 2024, and more.

Kerry also reflects on 20 years of The Final Lap as the 2024 season marks the 20th year that he has done the radio version of The Final Lap.
