Ryan Newman will return to his roots and race the Dirt Midget Division during this week’s Gateway Dirt Nationals.

Newman will join fellow NASCAR drivers Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Chase Briscoe in partaking in the events which span from December 19th to the 21st.

Newman, 42, was a prolific USAC quarter midget driver in his younger days. In fact, he is in the quarter midget Hall of Fame. It’ll be a fun flashback for the driver who impressed everyone by making it into the NASCAR Playoffs in 2019 with Roush Fenway Racing.

The Gateway Dirt Nationals take place at The Dome at America’s Center.
