After scoring a respectable eighth-place finish in Miami, Ryan Sieg was looking to continue the momentum heading to Las Vegas.

Sadly, the hope for a solid finish for the 33-year-old driver is likely gone after spinning into the grass.

Sieg got loose off of turn four and slid down towards the infield grass. Upon reaching it, the No. 39 Mustang dove into the grass, absolutely ripping the splitter off the car.

Sieg’s accident comes just a handful of laps after Ty Dillon and Las Vegas native Riley Herbst made contact, ending the day for the Stewart-Haas Racing driver.

The Georgia driver was able to come to pit road and salvage the car, continuing on in the Alsco 300 with 22 laps to go in Stage two.
