Video: One-Lap Dash Triggers Multi-Car Wreck at Conclusion of Stage One

After a one-lap dash to end the opening stage of Saturday’s EchoPark Automotive 250 at Atlanta, a multi-car accident has broke out on the backstraightaway collecting many drivers that could have had runs inside the top-10.

The accident occured when Brett Moffitt (No. 02) tagged Brandon Jones (No. 19) on the straightaway, sending the Joe Gibbs Racing driver spinning in front of traffic. The wreck collected Austin Cindric (No. 22), Noah Gragson (No. 9), Timmy Hill (No. 66), David Starr (No. 61) and Mason Massey (No. 99) in the process, damaging some drivers shots at solid runs.

Brett Moffitt was the only driver forced to retire from the event due to the damage, with Jones, Hill, Starr, Cindric, Gragson and Massey all able to fix their damage.
