Video: Kyle Sieg Goes Tumbling in Scary Last-Lap Crash at Michigan

Kyle Sieg walked away from an absolutely wild last-lap crash in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Cabo Wabo 250 at Michigan International Speedway. The RSS Racing driver had nowhere to go as Caesar Bacarella and Carson Kvapil made contact ahead of him, which sent Kvapil spinning to the inside of the track.

As the field began to stack up, Sieg got a shot from the rear from one of the cars in his drafting line, which sent him spinning toward the apron of the track with Chandler Smith. As Sieg’s car turned backwards on the apron, it lifted off of the ground and went for a wild flip down the backstretch.

Sieg’s car, which skidded on its lid, slammed into the inside wall, and then flipped back over onto its wheels and came to a stop in the infield grass on the inside of Turn 3.

Fortunately, Sieg and everyone else involved was able to walk away from the scary crash.
