Wawa 250 crash Brandon Jones Anthony Alfredo Daytona video 2023
Contact between Anthony Alfredo and Brandon Jones triggered a 10-car crash on Lap 42 of Friday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Wawa 250 at Daytona.

A massive crash near the front of the field in Friday night’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Wawa 250 at Daytona International Speedway erupted on Lap 42 of the race.

As the field barreled toward the start-finish line, it looked like Anthony Alfredo lost control of his car in the tri-oval. Alfredo slid into the side of Josh Berry’s No. 8 JR Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro.

But as Alfredo slid up, Brandon Jones, who was running behind Berry, also came down a little bit. Those two tangled, and Jones went for a wild ride into the outside wall with Brett Moffitt.

Here is a video of the crash:

As Jones careened back across the track, he collected Joe Graf Jr.

Behind this, several other cars piled in with nowhere to go. When all of the sparks were done showing the track, 10 cars had been involved in the pileup.

Those involved in the crash included Brandon Jones, Brett Moffitt, Connor Mosack, Anthony Alfredo, Ryan Sieg, Jordan Anderson, Joe Graf Jr., Natalie Decker, Alex Guenette, Kyle Weatherman, and Justin Haley.
