After making 14 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts for Alpha Prime Racing between 2022 and 2023, Stefan Parsons is returning to the organization for Friday’s Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The 26-year-old native of Cornelius, North Carolina will drive the No. 45 Chevrolet Camaro in what will be his first start of the season in the second-tier series. Sponsorship for the entry will come from TruShine Car Wash.

A proud partner of Bristol Motor Speedway, TruShine Car Wash is the premier vehicle wash in the region, with seven locations throughout Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. TruShine is a growing family-owned business headquartered in the Tri-Cities, with more than four decades of business experience in the region.

Parsons has recorded a single top-10 finish in his 65 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts. His career-best eighth-place finish came at Bristol Motor Speedway during the 2022 running of the Food City 300, while driving for Alpha Prime Racing.

“I’m excited to be back with the Alpha Prime guys. Last time I ran with them at Bristol I finished in the Top 10,” said Parsons. “I want to improve on that result and do the best I can for the team and TruShine Car Wash family.”

This year, Parsons has been spending his time running in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Henderson Motorsports, competing on a part-time basis in the No. 75 Chevrolet Silverado.

In eight starts this season, the son of NASCAR Cup Series winner Phil Parsons has recorded a pair of top-10 finishes at Daytona and Texas, as well as six top-20 results. Parsons will make his ninth start of the year in Thursday’s UNOH 200 at Bristol.

For the first time ever, the NASCAR Xfinity Series will have its event shown on The CW Network, with coverage beginning Friday, September 20th at 7:30 PM ET. Radio broadcast coverage of the event will be on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90).
