Alright, so wadding up their No. 4 Chevrolet Camaro SS wasn’t what Ross Chastain and JD Motorsports had in mind when the Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen started.

However, they were on the receiving end of a retaliatory shove from Just Allgaier which sent Chastain into the wall hard and out of the race.

It was a bummer for sure for the lower-budget team in the NASCAR Xfinity Series garage, however they were determined to make the best out of a bad situation.

After slicing and dicing pieces of the No. 4 car, the team hand delivered a chunk of the front headlight area to a young fan who was watching the race from the stands.

Regardless, where you stand on the Allgaier/Chastain incidents, you have to agree that this was a classy move by JD Motorsport to put a smile on a young fan’s face.
