Henderson Motorsports Entering Four of First Five Truck Events; Kligerman and Mayer Selected as Drivers

On Sunday Morning, Chris Carrier – crew chief for NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team Henderson Motorsports — joined Jack Arute on “The Frontstretch” to talk about the single-truck organization’s plans for the 2021 NASCAR Truck Series season.

According to Carrier, the organization will enter the No. 75 Chevrolet Silverado in four of the first five events on the series’ schedule, before evaluating the team’s program and performance in order to get a better idea of where they stand.

Parker Kligerman will pilot the No. 75 Silverado in the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway on February 12th, a track the organization hasn’t had on their schedule since 2018.

For the series’ second event of the season at Daytona’s Road Course, 17-year-old Sam Mayer will get behind the wheel of the team’s entry, in an attempt to claim his second victory in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The February 19 event will mark the first of seven scheduled Truck Series events for Mayer in 2021.

In October 2017, Henderson Motorsports claimed their first – and only — victory in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, with Parker Kligerman guiding the No. 75 Tundra to victory lane at Talladega Superspeedway. In 60 Truck Series starts, the organization has scored three top-fives and 13 top-10s.

No driver announcements beyond Daytona’s Road Course – the second race of the season — have been made at this time.
