There are 38 cars on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Texas Motor Speedway.

As the NASCAR Cup Series field can hold up to 40 cars, there will be no drivers or teams going home, but the 38 entries at Texas Motor Speedway is an increase from the 37 that raced at Martinsville Speedway.

William Byron, who won last weekend’s Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway, will return in the No. 24 Liberty University Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Hendrick Motorsports.

There will be two open (non-chartered) entries this weekend. Austin Hill will pilot the No. 33 United Rentals Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Richard Childress Racing, and Jimmie Johnson will pilot the No. 84 Toyota Camry XSE for LEGACY MOTOR CLUB.

For Hill, this is his first NASCAR Cup Series start of the season, and for Johnson, it’ll be his second start of the year. Johnson also competed in the season-opening Daytona 500.

Other notable entries for this event include Kaz Grala in the No. 15 Ford Mustang for Rick Ware Racing, and Ty Dillon in the No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro for Kaulig Racing.
