There are 36 cars on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway, the 13th of 36 races in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.

With a maximum of 40 cars being permitted to start in the series, no drivers and teams will go home this weekend. The 36 teams entered this weekend are the 36 teams with NASCAR Cup Series Team Charters. This breaks a five-race stretch of the NASCAR Cup Series field featuring at least one “Open” entry.

Kyle Larson, who won last weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series event at Kansas Speedway by the thinnest margin in NASCAR Cup Series history, will return to the track in the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 with primary sponsorship from HendrickCars.com.

Larson’s car will carry a throwback paint scheme, honoring Terry Labonte’s 1996 NASCAR Cup Series championship-winning paint scheme.

Notables on the entry list include Kaz Grala in the No. 15 Rick Ware Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse and Derek Kraus in the No. 16 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
