There are 40 cars on the preliminary entry list for Saturday night’s NASCAR Cup Series Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway, which will serve as the regular season finale for the series.
With up to 40 cars permitted to start races in the NASCAR Cup Series, no drivers or teams will go home following this week’s qualifying session.
Austin Dillon, who won last weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series event at Richmond Raceway, will return to the driver’s seat of the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet this weekend with primary sponsorship from BREZTRI.
Among the notable entries in the field this weekend is Casey Mears, who will make his second start of the season behind the wheel of the No. 66 Garage 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse. Mears, who hadn’t competed in the series since 2019 prior to this year, will make his 491st career start on Saturday night.
Other notable entries for Saturday night’s race include Austin Hill, driving the No. 33 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet, Joey Gase, driving the No. 44 NY Racing Team Chevrolet, and BJ McLeod, driving the No. 78 Live Fast Motorsports Chevrolet.
