After a long off-season, ‘The Great American Race’ is finally in sight!
On Monday, NASCAR released the preliminary entry list for the 2024 Daytona 500, the season-opener for the NASCAR Cup Series, set to take place on Sunday, February 18 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
There are 42 cars shown on the preliminary entry list for the season-opening event, each of which will be battling to claim one of the 40 spots in the field for Sunday’s 200-lap contest around ‘The World Center of Racing’.
Notable entries include: 4 Berry, 10 Gragson, 15 Herbst, 16 Allmendinger, 31 Hemric, 36 Grala, 42 Nemechek, 44 TBA, 51 Haley, 60 Ragan, 62 Alfredo, 71 Zane Smith, 77 Hocevar, 78 McLeod, and 84 Johnson.
