There are 40 cars on the preliminary entry list for Saturday night’s NASCAR Cup Series Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway, the 25th race of the 36-race 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.
With up to 40 cars being permitted to start races in the NASCAR Cup Series, no drivers or teams will head home following this week’s qualifying session.
Tyler Reddick, who won Monday’s NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway is set to return in the No. 45 23XI Racing Toyota Camry XSE with primary sponsorship from MoneyLion.
Notable entries among the 36 Chartered entries include Cody Ware, who returns to the No. 15 Rick Ware Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse, and Shane van Gisbergen who will pilot the No. 16 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet Camaro.
There will be four Open entries in Saturday’s race.
Austin Hill will pilot the No. 33 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet, Joey Gase will pilot the No. 44 NY Racing Chevrolet, Parker Retzlaff will drive the No. 62 Beard Motorsports Chevrolet, and BJ McLeod will run the No. 78 Live Fast Motorsports Chevrolet.
