Xfinity and 23XI Racing have officially announced an extension and expansion of their long-standing partnership. The company, which served as a two-race primary sponsorship partner of Bubba Wallace and the No. 23 team in 2025, will now become the majority primary partner for Wallace and the No. 23 team during the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season.
As part of the expanded deal, Xfinity will enjoy its first-ever branded car in the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 15, as Xfinity will adorn the No. 23 Toyota Camry XSE. Additionally, Xfinity will serve as a primary sponsorship partner for Tyler Reddick and the No. 45 23XI Racing team in select events in 2026.
Wallace, 32, is honored at the expanded relationship with Xfinity, and he’s even more excited about what this pairing could mean for his loyal fanbase throughout the season.
“Having Xfinity on the car for the Daytona 500 and doing more with our team for the 2026 season is an incredible honor,” Wallace said in a press release. “What really excites me is how this partnership gives fans a front-row seat to everything we do. They’re right there for every mile of the season, celebrating the milestones, and feeling like part of the team. Xfinity’s support gives us the resources to compete at the sport’s biggest stages while keeping fans at the heart of every race.”
Prior to the expanded partnership, Xfinity helped 23XI Racing create the Xfinity Speed Center, an off-site command center of sorts, where engineers at Airspeed can coordinate with crew chiefs and engineers at the track to assist in making calls and changes that the on-site employees may not notice with the loud and chaotic nature of the race track.
Xfinity says that Tuesday’s announcement further cements the fact that they hope to continue to help grow 23XI Racing into a juggernaut in the NASCAR Cup Series.
“From day one, our partnership with 23XI Racing has been about imagining what’s possible in the sport and creating experiences that connect fans to the moments that mean the most to them,” said Jessica Muir, Senior Director of Brand Partnerships & Amplification, Comcast, in a press release. “This extension reflects our long-term belief in this team, in Bubba and Tyler, and in our fans. We’ll be celebrating a historic milestone with our first-ever branded car in the Daytona 500 and showing fans what’s possible when imagination meets momentum as we continue to invest in the future of NASCAR.”
23XI Racing has felt the impact from 23XI Racing on the track, but that is not where the benefits have ended for the organization over the years.
“Xfinity has been an incredible partner in helping 23XI Racing grow both on and off the track,” said Steve Lauletta, President at 23XI Racing. “Their continued support gives us the resources to jointly create unforgettable experiences for our fans while also competing at the highest level. With Xfinity, we’re not just building an elite team, we’re building a partnership that puts fans first and helps the sport grow for everyone who loves racing.”
Wallace took a career-defining win last season in the crown jewel Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway to secure his second-career NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs appearance. This year, the NASCAR Cup Series championship format will return to the “Chase” format, which was last used in 2013.
Last year, Wallace captured one win, six top-five finishes, and 14 top-10s throughout the 36-race campaign. After an 11th-place finish in the championship standings, Wallace will look to hit the ground running with Xfinity on his No. 23 Toyota at Daytona International Speedway next month.
