William Byron and the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports team will have a new multi-year primary sponsorship partner beginning with the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season. Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, will serve as a two-race primary sponsor annually for Byron through the 2028 season.
“What stands out to me is Anduril’s commitment to innovation and its discipline to being ready for any challenge,” Byron said. “That’s the same approach our team takes every week, so it’s special to represent a company that shares those principles. The fact that this program gives back to those who serve is something we’re proud to support and makes the partnership especially meaningful. We’re looking forward to having Anduril on board.”
Next season, Anduril will adorn the No. 24 Chevrolet in the Anduril 250 Race the Base event at the San Diego Street Course on June 21, and will return for the July 5 event at Chicagoland Speedway, the first NASCAR Cup race at the 1.5-mile speedway since 2019. Anduril is excited for the opportunity to showcase its technology, while also advocating for veterans.
“Hendrick Motorsports sets the standard in NASCAR. For Anduril, this partnership is about showcasing technology and performance at the highest level,” said Jeff Miller, vice president of marketing at Anduril, in a press release. “We’re also aligned in our commitment to advocate for the military community. That mission will be the North Star for how we partner together.”
Hendrick Motorsports, the all-time leader in NASCAR Cup Series history with 14 championships and 319 race wins, is proud to partner with a company as transformative as Anduril, which boasts a portfolio of autonomous aircraft, underwater vehicles, AI-powered sensor platforms, and electronic-warfare systems used by the U.S. Department of Defense and allied militaries.
“Anduril is transforming its industry with the same kind of passion for winning that we bring to racing,” said Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports. “We’re proud to represent a company that pushes the boundaries of advanced technology to support our military and engages in programs to honor service members and their families. William and the No. 24 team will be tremendous ambassadors for Anduril and its message.”
The official Anduril 2026 paint scheme design will be unveiled at a later date.
Byron, 27, has racked up 15 career NASCAR Cup Series wins through 286 starts, including victories this season in the season-opening Daytona 500 and the Iowa Corn 350 at Iowa Speedway.
The North Carolinian is attempting to secure his third consecutive berth in the NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4, but he heads into Sunday’s Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway, the Round of 8 elimination event, below the Playoff cutline. Byron will likely need to pick up a win this weekend to keep his streak of battling for the championship in the season’s final race intact.
