Video: The Entire NASCAR Garage Stands With Bubba Wallace, Pushes No. 43 Car to Front of Grid

Wow. What a touching moment.

Before the action got underway on Monday for the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway, Bubba Wallace’s fellow competitors as well as all of the men on just about every crew in the garage stood and they all pushed the No. 43 Richard Petty Motorsports car to the front of the grid on pit lane, while Wallace sat in the seat and steered.

After reaching the end of pit lane, Wallace climbed from the window and leaned across the top of the car, emotionally exhausted. Richard Petty — the RPM car owner embraced Wallace.

Of course, on Sunday, a noose was found in the garage stall of Wallace’s No. 43 team. In the past few weeks, NASCAR has made efforts to be more inclusive and have done among other things, banned the confederate flag from all events.

NASCAR’s Steve O’Donnell also shared video of his view of the touching pre-race display.

If this showcase of solidarity between the entire garage area doesn’t give you goosebumps, I don’t know what will.
