After the conclusion of Sunday’s Verizon 200 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Road Course, Ryan Blaney was still pretty upset with Daniel Suarez after contact on a NASCAR Overtime restart. So, on the cooldown lap, Blaney spun Suarez out.

In the closing laps of Sunday’s Verizon 200 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Road Course, Ryan Blaney saw a potential finish inside the top-five, turn into a 26th-place result, after being spun with two laps to go.

Being winless and second-place in the regular-season championship standings, Blaney was frustrated with the move that dropkicked him to a nearly insurmountable 125 points behind Chase Elliott in the regular-season points.

Although the contact in NASCAR Overtime didn’t come directly from Daniel Suarez, the Trackhouse Racing driver did make significant contact with the No. 12 Ford Mustang in turn one, which allowed him to be put in the position to be spun in turn two by AJ Allmendinger.

So, in retaliation, Blaney decided to take matters into his own hands, spinning Daniel Suarez’s No. 99 Freeway Insurance Chevrolet in turn eight on the cooldown lap.
