Video: MASSIVE Crash Erupts on Restart After Competition Caution at Michigan

Austin Cindric walked away from a brutal head-on hit into the outside wall on lap 26 of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan.

After contact between JJ Yeley, who stayed out during the lap 20 competition caution and Michael McDowell, who had pitted under the caution, a massive pileup ensued on lap 26 of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

Austin Cindric was clipped, which sent his No. 2 Team Penske Ford Mustang head-first into the wall. The No. 2 machine took a massive hit, but Cindric was able to walk away from the crash.

In all, 10 cars were involved in the melee. Cindric and Kyle Busch looked to suffer the biggest damage. Also involved were No. 21 Harrison Burton, No. 34 Michael McDowell, No. 38 Todd Gilliland, No. 10 Aric Almirola, No. 3 Austin Dillon, No. 45 Ty Gibbs, No. 47 Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and No. 9 Chase Elliott.
