After contact between JJ Yeley, who stayed out during the lap 20 competition caution and Michael McDowell, who had pitted under the caution, a massive pileup ensued on lap 26 of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway.
Austin Cindric was clipped, which sent his No. 2 Team Penske Ford Mustang head-first into the wall. The No. 2 machine took a massive hit, but Cindric was able to walk away from the crash.
