Wow. That was a vicious hit.

Kyle Larson, the defending winner of the NASCAR All-Star Race, has made heavy contact with the turn four wall at Texas Motor Speedway, ending his hopes of winning back-to-back prizes of $1-million.

The Hendrick Motorsports driver started the event from fourth-place and had worked his way into the runner-up position at the time of the caution.

Larson got out of his No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet under his own power and walked behind the pit wall, where he’ll be required to visit the infield care center.
