Video: How Fast Can Kyle Busch Run? Faster Than a New York Bus

While the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4 drivers (Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr.) were in New York City on Tuesday, making their rounds on the talk show and early morning news shows, the group came up with an interesting bet.

With just over 5-miles left until they got to their hotel, their bus ride had slowed to a crawl — it is New York traffic.

So Hamlin wagered Busch — his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate — that the bus could arrive at the hotel faster than Busch could run to the hotel.

Busch, who was dressed in a suit, took Hamlin up on the wager.

Turns out in the end, Busch was indeed faster than the New York City bus. In fact, Busch got to his hotel room approximately 15 minutes before the bus arrived.

Not only did Busch get a nice work out in, but he also took some of Hamlin’s money in the process.

However, Hamlin later posted that although the vehicle had 5 miles to travel, Busch’s path on foot was a mere 1.8-miles.
