Chase Briscoe had just made an aggressive move to knife to the outside lane to attempt to take the lead in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona, when all hell broke loose.
On lap 123, Briscoe got tangled up with Alex Bowman, who was being shoved from behind, which sent Briscoe and Bowman spinning through the field. Briscoe went airborne for a moment. When the carnage ended, nine cars were involved in the melee.
