Video: Ace Dillon, Austin Dillon’s Son, Loses Pacifier in Richard Childress Racing No. 3 Prior to Cup Race at Daytona

First and foremost, I feel that it’s important to clarify that Ace Dillon has gotten his pacifier back, meaning that the chances of the Dillon family having a quiet night has significantly increased.

Prior to the start of the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway, Ace Dillon, son of Austin Dillon, who drives the No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro for Richard Childress Racing, was sitting in the seat of his dad’s entry, when he dropped his pacifier on the ground, before being pulled out of the car by his father. Noticing the pacifier was still in the car, Dillon – not sure if I mean Ace or Austin — enlisted some Richard Childress Racing crew members to try and spot the important item.

Luckily, the item was retrieved and didn’t get left in the car, as the pacifier could have slipped underneath the pedals and resulted in an unfortunate situation later in the race, when the brake or gas pedal was needed.
