Garage 66 (formerly MBM Motorsports) is once again teaming up with Pure Kick for this weekend’s third annual NASCAR Cup Series event on the Chicago Street Course.
Josh Bilicki, an established road racer, will be piloting the No. 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse in the Grant Park 165, as sponsor Purekick features an all-new Blood Orange paint scheme, which is designed to highlight the boldest flavor in the company’s hydration lineup.
This season marks Pure Kick’s third consecutive year of activation at the Chicago Street Course and the brand’s second consecutive year partnering with Bilicki and Garage 66 for the NASCAR Cup Series event. In 2023, the company sponsored Kyle Weatherman and JD Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series event.
“This is one of the most exciting races of the year, and the energy in Chicago is unmatched,” said Josh Bilicki, driver of the No. 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse. “I’m proud to help launch the Blood Orange campaign with Pure Kick and give fans something bold to cheer for — on and off the track.”
In addition to PureKick’s new flavor-forward car design, the brand is launching a major giveaway and fan engagement experience for the highly anticipated event in Chicago, Illinois.
On Thursday (July 3), Pure Kick will unveil a custom Blood Orange-themed Harley-Davidson motorcycle on display at their NASCAR Fan Zone booth. Fans can enter for the opportunity to win the bike all weekend long.
Then, on race day (Sunday, July 6), Josh Bilicki will be appearing at the Pure Kick Fan Zone display for an exclusive autograph signing from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM.
Sunday’s Grant Park 165 at the Chicago Street Course will mark the third NASCAR Cup Series start of the 2025 season for Josh Bilicki, who has partnered up with Garage 66 to run previous events this season at Bristol and Charlotte.
With a total of 41 drivers on the entry list for Chicago this weekend, there will be one driver (of the five non-chartered entries) who doesn’t take the green flag for Sunday’s event.
Bilicki will be going up against Austin Hill, Katherine Legge, Corey Heim, and Will Brown for four spots in the field, with the slowest of the five in qualifying missing out on the race.
The Grant Park 165 will take place on Sunday, July 6 at 2:00 pm ET on TNT Sports. Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90) will have radio coverage of the event.
