Noah Gragson has been cleared to return to the NASCAR Cup Series at Nashville Superspeedway, after sitting out at Sonoma.

Noah Gragson has been cleared to return to competition in the NASCAR Cup Series, after being sidelined for the series’ last event at Sonoma Raceway due to the onset of concussion-like symptoms.

Gragson, who competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series for LEGACY MOTOR CLUB, was involved in a major accident in the closing stages of an event at World Wide Technology Raceway.

Despite being checked and released from the infield care center at the track, the Las Vegas, Nevada-native began to experience symptoms consistent with a concussion mid-week, leading him to be evaluated by a local doctor.

At Sonoma, Grant Enfinger got behind the wheel of the No. 42 Sunseeker Resorts Chevrolet Camaro, making his NASCAR Cup Series debut, in which he notched a respectable 26th-place result.

LEGACY MOTOR CLUB has also confirmed that Noah Gragson has been granted a waiver for the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, making him eligible for the post-season should he score a victory over the course of the next 10 weeks.

After 16 events, Gragson sits 33rd in NASCAR Cup Series points, the lowest of the full-time competitors this season. So far this season, the 24-year-old driver has scored a season-high result of 12th-place.
