After a couple of months off and an appetizer in the form of an exhibition event at Bowman Gray Stadium a couple of weeks ago, we have finally reached the beginning of the 2025 NASCAR National Series season. The action will be fast a furious as on-track activity will kick off on Wednesday.

The NASCAR Cup Series stars will take to the track on Wednesday morning (10:05 AM ET on FS1) for practice and will return in the evening (8:15 PM ET on FS1) for Daytona 500 qualifying.

On Thursday, the ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will log laps in their practice sessions. ARCA will hit the track first at 4:05 PM ET (untelevised), and the Truck Series practice will commence at 5:05 PM ET on FS1. Following NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series practice, the starting lineup for The Great American Race will be fully set by way of the Duel Qualifying Races.

The Duels at Daytona will kick off at 7:15 PM ET on Thursday night, and FS1 will have the coverage of the two races.

There will be a slew of practice and qualifying sessions amongst the four series that are in Daytona this weekend on Friday, but the main event on Friday evening will be the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Fresh From Florida 250 race, which will begin at 7:30 PM ET on FS1.

On Saturday, the ARCA Menards Series will contest its ARCA Daytona 200 at Noon ET on FOX, and the NASCAR Xfinity Series United Rentals 300 will cap off the evening with coverage beginning at 5:00 PM ET on The CW.

The full weekend will culminate in the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 16. The Great American Race will be televised by FOX with coverage beginning at 2:30 PM ET.

  1. Thankx for the info each day during the season. It’s great to get Nascar info that we can depend on. Our local Newspaper has nothing about racing. We are in Buffalo Bills Country. That’s all we ever see. Thankx again. Pete & Kathy Rochester NY
