The race will take place on a newly repaved Sonoma Raceway, which will also for the first time feature a wall on the inside of the turn 11 hairpin, instead of the traditional tire packs. While that has not been a major factor in the ARCA West and NASCAR Xfinity Series races this weekend, it could factor into Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race.
