Who said it was off season? It has been a busy January for Kyle Larson.

He ran a multi-race midget dirt championship in New Zealand, where he won some, but also suffered a wild flip. The spectacular crash left his eye black and blood-shot.

Then last week, he realized a 13-year dream of capturing the Golden Driller as the winner of the Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Now, Larson has landed in Australia, where he will compete in winged sprints.

Larson will be competing in the 48th Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at Premier Speedway in Warnambool, Victoria, Australia.

The event is a three day show on Friday, January 24th through Sunday, January 26th.

At the conclusion of this event, Larson will fly back to the United States and get some rest in before the start of the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season.
