Joey Logano threw a huge block on Martin Truex Jr. in the final laps in Stage 2 of Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway. Logano, as a result of his block, was able to maintain the lead and swept Stages 1 and 2 in the race.

While Logano took his sixth Stage Win of the season, you have to wonder if drivers will continue to cut him slack when he blocks for the remainder of the race.

Truex ended the Stage in second, Clint Bowyer was third and Kurt Busch finished Stage 2 in fourth.

Jimmie Johnson, who came into the race as the first guy outside the Playoff cutline, has racked up even more Stage Points as he finished fifth. He gained six more points on William Byron in Stage 2, and he gained two more points on Matt DiBenedetto.

Coming into the race, Johnson sat four points behind Byron and nine points behind DiBenedetto in the championship standings.

Brad Keselowski, DiBenedetto, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Ryan Blaney and Christopher Bell rounded out the top-10 finishers in Stage 2.

100 laps are down, there are 60 laps left to decide who will compete for the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series championship.
