Post-race technical inspection following Sunday’s AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 500 has been completed at Texas Motor Speedway. Kyle Larson’s No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE has passed all portions of NASCAR’s inspection process, meaning NASCAR has declared the Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet the winner of the 33rd NASCAR Cup Series event of the season.

The victory is the eighth of the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season for Larson, and the 14th of his NASCAR Cup Series career, tying him for 55th all-time on the NASCAR Cup Series win list. The victory also marks the 277th for Hendrick Motorsports, extending the organization’s record as the winningest organization at NASCAR’s top level.

No major issues were discovered in post-race technical inspection, meaning all race results and point standings provided by NASCAR are now official.

Kyle Busch (No. 18), Kurt Busch (No. 1), and Tyler Reddick (No. 8) had one lug nut improperly secured in post-race lug nut check, which will result in a $10,000 fine to crew chiefs Seth Chavka, Matt McCall, and Randall Burnett in NASCAR’s weekly penalty report, released mid-week next week.
