Inspection Complete: Denny Hamlin Wins Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond

Inspection following Sunday’s Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway is complete in the NASCAR Cup Series garage.

The No. 11 Mavis Tires & Brakes Toyota Camry XSE, driven by race-winner Denny Hamlin, has cleared inspection, allowing NASCAR to declare the Joe Gibbs Racing driver as the official winner of the event.

Sunday’s victory is the 53rd in the NASCAR Cup Series for Hamlin, and his second in the last three races, both of which have come at racetracks measuring one mile in length or shorter.

No further issues were discovered in post-race technical inspection, meaning that all race results and point standings distributed by NASCAR are now deemed official, with Joey Logano, Kyle Larson, Martin Truex, Jr., and Chase Elliott all being credited with top-five finishes.

The No. 5 (Kyle Larson), No. 8 (Kyle Busch), No. 12 (Ryan Blaney), and No. 20 (Christopher Bell) will return to the NASCAR R&D Center for engine dyno, and the No. 12 and No. 20 will also be further inspected.
