There are 37 drivers on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s Viva Mexico 250 at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, the 16th event of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series campaign.

With the maximum field size set at 40 cars for all NASCAR Cup Series events in 2025, there will be no teams making the long trip back to North Carolina from Mexico City.

Denny Hamlin, the winner of Sunday’s FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway, will return to the series in Mexico City, driving the No. 11 Toyota Camry XSE for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Daniel Suarez will be the only Mexican-born driver competing in Sunday’s Viva Mexico 250 at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, and will do so with the support of Telcel-Infinitum.

There will only be a single uncharted entry making the trip down to Mexico City for Sunday’s event, that being Live Fast Motorsports. Katherine Legge will make her second start in the NASCAR Cup Series with e.l.f. Cosmetics on board the No. 78 Chevrolet.
