There are 40 drivers on the preliminary entry list for Saturday’s Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the 18th event on the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series schedule.
With the maximum starting field for every NASCAR Cup Series event set at 40 entries, there will be no drivers heading home following Friday’s qualifying session from the 1.54-mile oval in Hampton, Georgia.
Chase Briscoe, who earned his first victory of the season in last weekend’s event at Pocono Raceway, will return to the driver’s seat of the No. 19 Bass Pro Shops Toyota Camry XSE, fielded by Joe Gibbs Racing.
There are four teams, in addition to the 36 that currently hold NASCAR Cup Series charters, also taking part in Saturday’s 400-mile contest.
NASCAR on Prime analyst Corey LaJoie returns to the driver’s seat at one of his best racetracks, driving the No. 01 Schluter Systems Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Rick Ware Racing.
David Starr will make his first NASCAR Cup Series start of 2025 this weekend at EchoPark Speedway, driving the No. 66 Ford Mustang for Garage 66 (formerly MBM Motorsports).
BJ McLeod returns to the NASCAR Cup Series with his self-owned Live Fast Motorsports No. 78 Chevrolet.
Finally, 18-year-old phenom Connor Zilisch will make his third NASCAR Cup Series start in Saturday’s event at EchoPark Speedway, driving the No. 87 for Trackhouse Racing.
