There are 37 drivers on the preliminary entry list for Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway’s ROVAL, the 32nd event of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series campaign.

Sunday’s event marks the final race in the “Round of 12” in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs, meaning that when the checkered flag drops, the field of championship-eligible drivers will be whittled down to eight.

Chase Elliott, the most recent winner on the NASCAR Cup Series circuit from the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway, is entered in the final road course event of the year, driving the No. 9 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports. UniFirst will adorn the Dawsonville, Georgia-native’s entry in the race.

NASCAR Cup Series post-season contender William Byron will be running a special paint scheme in Sunday’s event at the Charlotte ROVAL, as long-time sponsor Valvoline partners with Blood Cancer United to bring awareness to pediatric blood cancer during Blood Cancer Awareness Month.

Kyle Larson, the winner of last October’s NASCAR Cup Series event at Charlotte Motor Speedway’s ROVAL, will be looking to go back-to-back in the event, piloting the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports.

23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports will continue to field six open entries in the NASCAR Cup Series this weekend, with Noah Gragson (No. 4), Bubba Wallace (No. 23), Todd Gilliland (No. 34), Riley Herbst (No. 35), Zane Smith (No. 38), and Tyler Reddick (No. 45) behind the wheel of those entries, as is typical for those two teams.

The sole part-time unchartered team on the entry list for Sunday’s Bank of America ROVAL 400 is Garage 66, which will field the No. 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for road course veteran Josh Bilicki. Sunday will mark the sixth Cup Series start of 2025 for Bilicki.

The Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway’s ROVAL will take place on Sunday, October 5, at 3:00 PM ET on USA Network, Performance Racing Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
