Joe Gibbs Racing drivers Denny Hamlin and Daniel Hemric will sport new looks this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, as Craftsman tools will provide sponsorship of their cars in the NASCAR Cup and NASCAR Xfinity Series races this weekend.

Joe Gibbs Racing made the paint scheme reveal on social media.

Hamlin is in the thick of the battle for his first-career NASCAR Cup Series championship, as the Series has entered the Round of 8 in their Playoffs.

The driver of the No. 11 Toyota Camry has been one of the two best drivers in the NASCAR Cup Series all season long.

After 32 races, Hamlin has two wins, 17 top-fives and 23 top-10s. He will begin the Round of 8 in this weekend’s Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 with the second seed in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.

Hamlin has three NASCAR Cup Series wins at Texas in his career, and he has won the opening race of both Rounds of the Playoffs so far in 2021. He should be considered a favorite to win on Sunday, especially in that sporty Craftsman paint scheme.

For Hemric, he’s still searching for his first-career NASCAR National Series win, but even without a win, he’s had a phenomenal year in the NASCAR Xfinity Series driving the No. 18 Toyota Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Hemric is into the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs Round of 8, and he has 12 top-fives and 18 top-10 finishes through the season’s opening 29 races. Can this be the weekend that Hemric finally pulls into victory lane?

Hemric has nine-career runner-up finishes in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition. He’s ready for a breakthrough.
