Talk about a scary moment. After climbing from his No. 43 McDonald’s Chevrolet Camaro after 500-miles on a steamy Georgia afternoon, Bubba Wallace collapsed on the Atlanta Motor Speedway pit road.

After being attended to, Wallace — who finished 21st in the race — felt he was healthy enough to do a post-race interview with FOX Sports, but during the interview with Jamie Little, Wallace fainted again while attempting to answer a question.

The broadcast ended with Wallace appearing to be awake and alert with medical personnel attending to him.

At this time, Wallace’s official condition or what transpired following the race have not been made clear.

However, the race took place on a very warm 85-degree day with roughly 79-percent humidity.

Several other drivers, Ryan Newman included, were filmed looking very spent after the event.

UPDATE 1: According to an Associated Press Pool Report, Bubba Wallace was transported to the infield care center by way of an ambulance. Wallace was taken into the care center on a stretcher, but appeared to be awake and alert.

UPDATE 2: NASCAR has stated that following the post-race media zoom sessions, there is nothing new to report on Bubba Wallace’s condition. When information becomes available, they will email the information to media members.

UPDATE 3: NASCAR has announced that Bubba Wallace and Josh Bilicki have been treated and released from the infield care center following Sunday’s race. No additional information is available at this time.

UPDATE 4: Bubba Wallace confirmed via Tweet that he is okay following a scary few moments where he fainted following Sunday’s race at Atlanta.
