B.J. McLeod Motorsports has been running in one of NASCAR’s National Series since 2014, making starts in both the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series.

Currently fielding the No. 5 for Matt Mills, No. 78 for Vinnie Miller and No. 99 for Mason Massey, Josh Bilicki & J.A. Avila Junior in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, the team has recently become one of the fan favorites in the garage.

This Sunday at Darlington Raceway (S.C.), B.J. McLeod Motorsports will make their maiden voyage into the premier NASCAR Cup Series, with team owner B.J. McLeod driving the No. 78 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE.

Todd Parrott will serve as the crew chief on the B.J. McLeod Motorsports entry, his first race as a crew chief since Kentucky in 2018, when he was CC on the No. 7 for Premium Motorsports and driver Jesse Little.

In 315 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, B.J. McLeod Motorsports has scored one top-five finish (P5 – No. 99 David Starr – Daytona, July 2017) as well as three top-ten finishes (most recently: P10 – No. 5 – Matt Mills – Daytona, July 2019).

After a long nine-week hiatus due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the NASCAR Cup Series returns to Darlington Raceway (S.C.) for the Darlington 400. You can watch B.J. McLeod and B.J. McLeod Motorsports navigate their maiden voyage in the NASCAR Cup Series on Sunday, May 17th at 3:30PM/est on FOX.
