Corey LaJoie is going to be one of the busiest drivers in the garage during ‘Speedweeks’ at Daytona International Speedway in mid-February.
The 34-year-old driver confirmed on Monday that he’ll join forces with Henderson Motorsports for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season-opener at ‘The World Center of Racing’, driving the No. 75 Chevrolet Silverado RST.
In addition to his newfound scheduled participation in the NASCAR Truck Series event at Daytona, LaJoie is also going to be competing in the DAYTONA 500, piloting the No. 99 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, a fourth entry for RFK Racing.
Built.com, a long-time supporter, will be leading the sponsorship effort for LaJoie in the February 13 event, with Alliance Driveaway Solutions and Kingdom Truck Sales also playing a pivotal role in the sponsorship program.
“It’s been fun putting this deal together for many reasons,” LaJoie said in a team release. “First being, Parker [Kligerman] is a good friend, and it’s cool to pick up the baton from him where he left off last year. Debbie Henderson-Creasy and Chris Carrier have the passion to continue Charlie’s legacy with Henderson Motorsports, and there’s no better place to do that than the World Center of Racing. Lastly, to involve longtime friends and partners in Built.com, as well as Alliance Driveaway Solutions, really makes it a family outing. Ready to go put the No. 75 in the wind and see what we’ve got.”
A return to Daytona International Speedway brings with it tons of emotions for the Henderson Motorsports team, after the events of the last year. In February, Parker Kligerman crossed the finish line first, but had the win taken away in post-race inspection. After an unsuccessful appeal, the team will forever be shown as finishing 36th in that race.
Then, last June, Charlie Henderson, the patriarch of the Henderson Motorsports team, passed away, raising questions about whether the team would even be able to continue.
“We won that race on the track,” said Debbie Henderson-Creasy, co-owner of Henderson Racing. “We went through the appeal process. We respected the decision. But, that experience stays with you — and it fuels you.”
Chris Carrier, a veteran crew chief in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, will continue to call the shots on the No. 75 Chevrolet Silverado RST in 2026.
“This team is moving forward to race competitively at Daytona with great people, great driver, great sponsorship, and ownership from great history in this business of stock car racing. I am anxious to see what we can do at Daytona,” Carrier said.
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season-opener at Daytona International Speedway is scheduled to take place on Friday, February 13 at 7:30 PM ET on FS1, NASCAR Racing Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
