Brad Keselowski snatched his fourth win of the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season as he cruised to a dominating victory in the Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond Raceway. Several driver appeared to be contenders for the win, but in the end, Keselowski led a race-high 192 laps in the 400-lap contest and beat Martin Truex Jr. to the stripe by 2.568-seconds.
Keselowski’s 34th-career NCS win moves him on to the Round of 12 in the Playoffs.
Truex came up just short of capturing his third-consecutive win at the 0.75-mile speedway in Virginia.
Joey Logano finished third after leading 45 laps on the night.
Austin Dillon put in another eye-opening performance as he finished an impressive fourth, a week after finishing second in the Playoff opener at Darlington. Dillon finished second in Stages 1 and 2 and collected 18 Stage Points on the night as a result.
Chase Elliott finished a quiet fifth.
Kyle Busch finished sixth, and has to be wondering if perhaps he could have had something for Keselowski and the front runners, had he not had to start from the rear of the field after failing pre-race inspection multiple times.
Kevin Harvick, Aric Almirola, Alex Bowman and Clint Bowyer rounded out the top-10 finishers in the race.
In addition to Keselowski, Denny Hamlin also locked himself into the Round of 12 with a 12th-place finish on Saturday.
