Rise Motorsports has confirmed that Tim Viens, a part-time competitor in NASCAR’s National Series and a former NASCAR Truck Series team owner, will return for a second start in the ARCA Menards Series.

Viens will pilot the No. 31 Chevrolet SS on March 7 at Phoenix Raceway, a combination event between the ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series West.

The South Hero, Vermont-native is fresh off a career-best 19th-place finish in the ARCA Menards Series season-opener at Daytona International Speedway, where he finished 29 laps behind race-winner Brenden Queen, after suffering a mechanical issue in-race.

As they did at Daytona, HitchGo and Opella will serve as primary sponsors for the No. 31 Chevrolet SS at Phoenix Raceway.

Rise Motorsports previously announced that team co-owner Rita Goulet will drive the No. 31 Chevrolet full-time in the ARCA Menards Series East, starting at Five Flags Speedway in March.

The General Tire 150 at Phoenix Raceway will air live on FS1 at 8 pm EST on Saturday, March 7.
