After returning to Venturini Motorsports, Sean Hingorani was able to get right back to work taking the win in the NAPA Auto Parts 150 Presented by the West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame. Taking home his first win of the 2024 ARCA Menards Series West season.

“I was really fast. Had to work for it there at the end,” the Newport Beach native said post-race after having to hold off a hard-charging teammate in Isabella Robusto who came close but was only able to come home second.

“Just really excited to be at Irwindale. My home track, and be able to get back to victory lane here,” Hingorani added.

Second-place finisher, Robusto took home her second career second-place finish in her career. “This was the first time I was at Irwindale Speedway. It’s a really cool race track. I definitely learned every lap there today. I think coming back on Saturday I’ll have a really good baseline to kind of fire off at,” the Fort Mill, SC native said after her second-place run.

Following up the podium was fellow Venturini teammate Jake Finch, making it a VMS sweep of the top three.

Former Irwindale winner Trevor Huddleston and points leader Tyler Reif rounded out the top five. After the race, now only three points separate Reif and tonight’s winner Hingorani.

Just outside the top five was Jaron Giannini in his ARCA Menards Series West debuting bringing the No. 23 machine home sixth and Nick Joanides bringing home his second top ten of the season in seventh.

Tough nights came for a few drivers. Kern Raceway winner Kole Raz brought out the first caution after having a mechanical issue and smoking on the track. He was relegated to a 17th-place finish, 142 laps down. Jack Wood was the other caution on the night as he spun in turn four and got some damage. He managed a 14th.

Up next, the ARCA Menards Series West is right back here for the West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame 150 presented by NAPA Auto Parts at Irwindale this Saturday, July 6th at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT live on Flo Racing.
